Aermacchi MB-339


Aermacchi MB-339 is an Italian built military trainer and attack aircraft. A total of ten had been delivered to the Argentine Navy by the time of the Falklands War, and were they were the only jets to operate out of Port Stanley during the war.

An Aermacchi MB-339 scored a hit on May 21st, 1982 on HMS Argonaut. Five Aermacchi MB-339s were captured or destroyed by the British during the war.
